2012 Highlights of Canada Awakening Ministries

January, 2012 -- Roger praying with the Chief...

and Band Council of the Pikangikum First Nation in north-western Ontario when Canada Awakening Ministries ministered there along with Island Breeze Manitoba.  The vision for the healing of the land was shared, and the warrior spirit in the First Nations was called forth to come against the spirit of death and of suicide that has brought so much pain into the community.

February, 2012 -- The Indigenous Tour to Israel brought original people of the land from both the northern and the southern ends of the earth back to Jerusalem.  Here, the group is praying for the peace of Jerusalem right from the King of kings Prayer Tower which is 14 stories up, looking over the city of Jerusalem.

While at the Prayer Tower, Roger and Marge presented gifts to Jonathan Miles from the ministry of Shevet Achim on behalf of their grand daughter--Shiloh Bergen.  This ministry supports Arab children from Iraq and from the Gaza, and other Middle Eastern Arab countries where they cannot afford the technology or the means for children to be able to have life-saving heart surgery.

Here the group is at a Committee Room at the Israeli Knesset, awaiting the arrival of Israeli Cabinet Minister Ayoob Kara, who is a Druze.  For more information on that meeting, watch this short video clip here . 

The Indigenous Tour Group is here leaving the Israeli Knesset after a productive day of meetings and relationship-building.  A further report on this aspect of the Tour from the Israeli News Media can be found here .

Here the group is praying along with some local intercessors right near the border of Lebanon on the northern border of Israel.  Earlier, they had prayed right near the Syrian border, praying for peace in the Middle East, and for the healing of the land.

This is a Palestinian School in Nazareth where the group ministered in song and in dance before these Arab children, both Christian and Muslim.

Here again, there are both Christian and Muslim students where the group ministered and shared their culture at this Palestinian School in East Jerusalem.

Here, Roger is praying with a group on a Cuban Beach in November over a young man who was a part of their group who wanted to be baptized in the ocean.  This thing was not done in a corner, as their were many onlookers, and some tourists even joined in to observe.

Near the end of July and beginning of August, 2012, Canada Awakening Ministries revisited Arctic Bay, Nunavut, where a healing the land process was started in August of 2008, right at a point just two miles from Arctic Bay.

Since that time, whales have been showing up in abundance, and here is just part of the catch taken at that very same point where the healing the land process began in August, 2008.

Since then, not only large fish, but different variety of fish have been showing up at Arctic Bay.  This is a large salmon fish, something they have not not seen in this area before this healing journey commenced.

And this year, in 2012, there was evidence of mushrooms beginning to spring up from the ground for the very first time.  Some people might attribute this to "global warming," but whatever the cause, the Inuit see it not as a tragedy, but they see it as a trend whereby gardens may once again be grown in this area.  This would be an answer to prayer, as it is so extremely expensive to fly food up there from the South that the more the people can live off the land, the less dependent they are on Ottawa in order to survive.  When the land is healed, the land itself will support the inhabitants, not government handouts.

In October of 2012, Roger is here welcoming the delegates of the 2012 Fellowship of Christian Assemblies National Convention in Winnipeg on the occasion of the Opening Night Banquet on Tuesday, October 16.

Winnipeg Mayor Sam Katz was there to welcome the FCA delegates, and to participate in drawing names for a number of door prizes, such as this Jewish Menorah.

On November 14, 2012, Roger was blessed and honoured to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal from the Hon. Vic Toews, Canadian Minister for Public Safety.  Symbolically, the Queen, through the Canadian Governor General, is the Head of State in Canada, as all government bills must be signed by the Governor General before they can become law.  The Queen is crowned at a ceremony officiated over by the Archbishop of Canturbury which includes Prayer, Communion and the Bible.

On November 26  the Harvest Family Church in Winnipeg hosted a very honouring evening for the ministers of the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies in Manitoba at this year's Christmas banquet.  Here, Roger and Marge are receiving prophetic encouragement from Pastor Duane Siemens.
